Item - Shelley Harmony Banded Ware Vase, ribbed

Size – height 15cm   base width 8cm   rim width 11cm

Comment – excellent condition 

Background - Harmony Ware was originally designed by Eric Slater.   The bright colours were said to complement every home interior colour scheme.   The banded ware as deliberately made to imitate hand-thrown ribbing although these pieces were actually made in moulds.   In fact, you could choose to have ribbed or flat-sided wares.
